The Swine Festival Pageants celebrate charm, confidence, and community spirit with a full day of competition and fun. With four age divisions throughout the day, contestants of all ages take the stage to shine and represent the festival with pride. Pageant registration begins at 8:00 AM, followed by the Toddler Divisions at 9:00 AM, King Porky and Queen Petunia at 12 NOON, Jr. Deb, Deb, and Jr. Teen at 2:00 PM, and Teen, Ms., and Miss divisions at 4:00 PM. Each pageant highlights the tradition, personality, and pride that make the Swine Festival a truly special celebration.

Swine Festival Parade
The Swine Festival Parade marches right through the heart of Basile, Louisiana — a beloved tradition full of small-town pride and big fun! Enjoy an afternoon packed with music, color, and excitement as school bands, community groups, and pageant winners from across the area roll through the streets. The newly crowned Basile pageant winners will join in the celebration, tossing candy, prizes, and beads to the crowd. Bring the whole family and line up early to catch all the fun!
Date & Time: Sunday, November 2nd, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM
